I am an illustrator and graphic designer with a focus on editorial and institutional projects. I work combining structure and sensitivity: developing publications, books, identities and illustrated pieces where design builds clarity and image brings character. I am especially drawn to creating solid visual systems, with attention to detail and a considered aesthetic. I live and work in Montevideo, collaborating on local and international projects.
Since 2017 I have also been teaching illustration at La Guineu, my studio workshop in Montevideo. I work with children and adults, exploring drawing, sketchbook practice, stamp carving and printmaking — always with an emphasis on developing a personal way of seeing.
